Mycenax Receives Silver Award for International Advancement at the 2026 Taipei Biotech Awards

[Taipei, Taiwan – September 30, 2026]

Mycenax Biotech Inc. (4726) received the Silver Award in the International Advancement category at the 2026 Taipei Biotech Awards, recognizing the company’s progress in international expansion, cross-border collaboration, and commercial biologics manufacturing.

This year, 35 judges reviewed 151 applications, with 20 companies selected for recognition, representing an overall award rate of approximately 13%.

In recent years, Mycenax has continued to deepen its presence in Japan. In 2025, the company joined Alfresa, Kidswell Bio, and Chiome Bioscience to establish Alfenax Biologics Corporation, advancing plans for a biologics manufacturing facility in Japan and building a dual-site manufacturing network across Taiwan and Japan.

Beyond Taiwan-Japan collaboration, Mycenax continues to work with global technology partners to expand its biologics and ADC development and manufacturing capabilities. Its commercial manufacturing experience and international regulatory track record further support the company’s growing role in the global biopharmaceutical supply chain.

Pei-Jiun Chen, CEO & President of Mycenax, commented, “This award recognizes the progress Mycenax has made in international expansion and cross-border collaboration. We will continue to deepen our presence in Japan and strengthen partnerships with global industry and technology partners.”

Looking ahead, Mycenax will continue to leverage Taiwan as its core development and manufacturing base while expanding its presence in Japan and other international markets.
